OIS must have your current residential address at all times. You must report any change in residential address to my.UIC.edu within 10 days of moving. This information gets sent to OIS and then we send that information to SEVIS. The residential address is the actual physical address of where you live in the U.S. A departmental address or P.O. Box is not acceptable.
How to use my.UIC to update your address
1. Go to my.UIC and log in
2. Click on the tab Academics
3. Click on Student Self Services (bottom right hand corner)
4. Click on Personal Information
5. Click on Addresses & Phones
6. Under ‘Type of Address to Insert’, select Local Address (International)
7. Enter your complete U.S. address where you are living
8. Click SUBMIT
